|Sorry about not being at the meeting last night - I had a UIL test that lasted until about 6:30, and after that we (Psy and I) went to CiCi's and the movies. On the way back to my house we realized that we had missed the meeting! Anyway, there's still the meeting today @ noon, so hope to see you guys there if you can make it!|

|Just thought I'd let you know that I'll be gone this coming Wed -> Mon (vacation 'cause we're on Spring Break!). What's to be done about the meetings I don't know - perhaps Dark, Psy, or Ush could run it? Anyway thought I'd let you all know!|

|I realize that the link that had instructions on how to set up WarForge has gone down... so I just got one of the thousands of others that has the instructions on it! So if you're interesting WarForge, check out http://188.8.131.52/war3x/|

|Oh, guess who's in the OFFICIAL Beta?! Yeah that's right, I got in! Suprisingly enough, it was not through an email from Blizzard, but rather through my cousin who stopped by the other night. He was staying the night and noticed the WarCraft III CD Case on my desk and asked if I had gotten into the Beta. I said no and he just gave me his CD-Key (well typed it into installer - I don't know the actual key). Also, another friend of mine got in - he goes by Khadgar25 (might've seen him in the channels a couple of times). So don't give up hope guys! There is still a chance to get in! Khadgar just got his email today, so they're still sending them out. If you have Yahoo! or some other email service with spam protection, check the Bulk folder before you empty it - you might be deleting your CD-Key! Just check your email daily - you never know what you'll find!|

|Blizzard has added another 10,000 lucky testers to the the official Beta test! Check your emails - maybe you won't have to resort to Warforge after all!!|

|Spread the good news everyone! WarForge has officially released their crack for the WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne Beta Test! Yes, that means that everyone can now play the Beta, even though we were not lucky enough to be chosen! While this is all good and such, you're probably wanting me to shut up and just give you the Beta already. For that, my friends, I will redirect you to this website, which has all the necessary files and instructions on going about to install the Beta. If you wish to have a dual copy installed like I did (aka having War3 Classic and War3 Beta installed at the same time), then check out Blizzard's Dual Install Guide! I look forward to seeing you all on the WarForge server! If you have any questions or problems, check out the FAQ - if you still don't have your answer, then post on the forums and I'll try to assist. *Note: I don't believe the cracked Beta works on Macs, so I'm sorry to all you Mac users out there! Also, minor update: I play on the Warforge.kicks-ass.org server!
In other news, the Order of Light has 3 new members! Kai-Wolves, CheeseofDoom, and IPlayWC3-OOL (previously known as EYEnoWEARuLIVE)! Add them to your friends list when you get the chance, and again, we welcome all 3 of you to our ranks! Also, WereWolf has finally gotten WarCraft III and goes by Werewolf-OOL on Battle.Net, so add him as well!
The 4 WarForge servers are:

|Blizzard has released information concerning Clan Support on Battle.Net! You can read the full details here, but I'd like to highlight some of the key features:
- While multiple clans are allowed to have the same full name, the clan abbreviation is unique to the clan.
- The clan's full name cannot exceed 64 characters in length. The clan abbreviation can be from 2 to 4 characters in length. Clan abbreviations can only use the characters A-Z and 0-9.
- There are four ranks of clan members: Chieftain, Shaman, Grunt, and Peon. The Chieftain is the undisputed leader of the clan. To help manage the clan, the Chieftain may also have up to 10 Shaman officers.
- The bulk of clan membership consists of Grunts. These members have no special privileges, but all of their non-custom games count towards the clan's rating on the Clan Ladder.
- Peons are also members of the clan, but unlike games played by Grunts, games played by a Peon do not count towards the Clan's rating on the Clan Ladder.
- Every clan has a private chat channel for use by clan members. The Clan Chieftain and Shaman can set the channel to only allow clan members to join the channel, or they may open up the channel to entry by other users.
- The clan chat channel also becomes the default channel for clan members when they log on to Battle.net. The Chieftain or Shaman of a clan may set a message of the day that clan members will see upon logging onto Battle.net and entering the clan channel.

|The WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne Beta has officially started! Hurry up and check your emails for all those that signed up, and if you haven't received one yet, then don't lose hope! Supposedly they're being sent out in small waves, so people are receiving their copies of the email at different times. However, if you haven't received it by this Wednesday, it's most likely that you didn't make the first phase (speculations from Blizzard's statement: "selected testers will receive an email from us confirming their participation in the next few days."). More information can be found here, where you can also download the Beta (click the Download Beta HERE link off to the right). Also, if you wish to follow the progress of the Beta, you can read the posts of Beta posters in the Beta Forum.|

|HAHA! Mark this day down, ladies and gentlemen, for the most unbelievable event has occurred in the heart of Texas - schools have been cancelled due to the weather (aka SNOW DAY!). Yes that's right, the entire day of school on Tuesday, February 25th, 2003 has been cancelled for both Psy and I - so expect our AT level to at least triple (because it's not really snow outside, it's just about 3 - 4 inches of pure ice *sigh*). I will definitley however be playing football tomorrow in the courtyard - so come on down Psy! I know this isn't all that much clan related but since this is such an uncommon event it deserves to be front page news everywhere! WOOHOO!|

|The meeting last night went very well. Cuban was promoted to Knight, Dark was promoted to Council Member, and SoulRavage was also promoted to Knight. Also, SoulRavage and White-Wolves have both been accepted into OSF - congrats to you both! I know this is a lot of news but I'm slightly rushed right now so I might write up a longer version of this later.|

|Yet another replay that's simply amazing. Again, it's Psy owning it up, because Hara's base gets eliminated early on into the game (but yet again I rescue my hero and keep him alive!) Click here to check it out - and remember, change the .zip to .w3g! IT IS NOT AN ACTUAL ZIP FILE! DO NOT TRY TO UNZIP IT!|

|Well tripod's back up - for a while I couldn't update the website because tripod kept giving me some error when I tried. Anyway, I have a little treat for you all - a replay of Psy, Blitz, and myself in an incredible 3 vs 3 Arranged Team match. This game was really close, and no matter what the outcome was it was a lot of fun. Click here to download it! (be sure to take off the .zip ending and put .w3g).|

|A minor update - White-Wolves has been promoted to Knight! So he may now try out for OSF if he wishes. As for the rest of you guys that joined around when White did - if you wish to be promoted, you have to actually attend these things called "meetings" on Friday nights (7:30 Central Time (-6GMT)).
Also, SoulRavage, a member that was kicked due to inactivity has been re-added to our ranks at his previous rank (we switched channels which caused some minor confusion). Other than that not much to update on!

|Hey happy Valentine's day all! At least I hope it is for you... Sorry but I have to rant on this one, because I just needa get this off me.
Is it just me, or are the majority of women just technologically ignorant? I know there's probably a lot of women out there that know more about computers than I do, but none of them go to my school. Anyway here's my story/rant: I had planned on going to the movies with some guys and gals (girls for you non-Texans) from my school, one of which I like. She gets her friend to pre-order her ticket, and her friend is ... not too bright. She pre-ordered the 9:35 showing when we're all seeing the 9:00 showing. Then she calls me up and tells me that the 9:00 showing was sold out (but she also told me her friend pre-ordered when she called me earlier to tell me to pre-order). So I was suspicious, because I got the 9:00 showing just fine. So 30 minutes after she calls, I checked the 9:00 showing on the internet - it's not sold out! I don't know what to think honestly - an honest mistake where her friend's incompetence got the best of her? Is she ditching me? Argh... Anyway I'm a bit peeved right now so yeah.
On a better note, Dark was promoted to Holy Knight. I'll update it later (or Ush / Lazer could update it, seeing as how neither of 'em really do much on the webiste as of late). Congrats to Dark! Also, White was promoted to squire last week but I hadn't actually made the change on the website 'til tonight - my bad white! Anyway, that's all for now. I'm off to the movies, where I'll be in the middle of some huge argument about stupidity I'm sure.

|Yet another member has joined the ranks of the Order of Light: Eternal.Orc! Everyone give him a warm welcome if you see him in the channels!
I'm working on setting up training by OSF members for those interested in improving their skills at WarCraft III. Details are still sketchy and it's still in the works, so it could be a bit before it's up and running, but just letting you all know that it's being worked on.

|Welcome 2 new additions to the Order of Light: Black-Wolves (White's friend) and CubanB. (Human's friend)! Hope to see you guys on often! Other than that not much else in the news.|
|10:01 PM Monday, February 3rd, 2003
|I purged the Member's list and basically cut the clan to half it's original size. However, all that remain are the active members or at least those who posted to remain in, so it's all for the better. I need to add Vegeta back to the list however. Also, there's a new addition to the Order of Light: Human25! So everyone be sure and welcome him! Nothing else much for updates - oh yea, IFartForNoOne has made OSF! Fart, I need you to create an OSF account when you get the chance! That's all for now.|

|I apologize for my leave of absence - I would make up some lame excuse if one fit the case, but there is none. No reason justifies leaving the clan without leadership for such an extended period of time, and I'm sorry for what I did.
On a lighter note, Blizzard® has officially announced the development of the expansion set to WarCraft III! They have an official press release and there is a preview posted over at GameSpy.com. There will be new heroes and new units for each race, and there will also be "player-built shops," which are unique to each race. Sounds pretty promising to me. Also, the greatest feature of all, and I quote, "Expanded multiplayer options over Battle.net® including multiple new game types, clan and tournament support" - I just hope Blizzard can deliver this time around!
There's been several updates to the website - you can find the full list in the forum. Also, there's a roll call set up in the forums - ALL MEMBERS MUST REPLY TO THIS POST BY FEBURARY 1ST, 2003 IN ORDER TO REMAIN IN OOL - I will be purging the list of inactive members on that date, and if you have not responded you run the risk of being purged.
