Solo
The solo tournament is a contest of your 1 on 1 skills. Each player will fight their opponent until someone wins the best 2 out of 3 games. The first game, the person on the higher bracket chooses the map. On the second game, the lower bracket chooses the map. If it comes down to a tie-breaker, I (Harabec) will choose the map. When creating the game, it is to be a private game with NO OBSERVERS! All rules are the exact same as the rules that apply to Blizzard's ladder. All maps that are played must be Blizzard created maps. For the 1 on 1 tournament, the maximum players per map must not exceed 4. At the end of the game, BOTH PARTIES MUST SAVE THE REPLAY IN CASE OF A DEBATE. If neither you or your opponent saved the replay, and there is a dispute, then the match will be replayed. If someone disconnects, then the party that did not disconnect MUST SAVE THE REPLAY, or else the match will have to be replayed. If the player was disconnected at the beginning, then the match will be replayed. If it's in the middle or end and he's about to be defeated, then the disconnected party loses. If it is at a point where the outcome cannot be very accurately predicted, then the match will be replayed. If a dispute occurs, email the replay to Harabec's Email Address, and I will have a look at it. If there is no replay available, then the match will be replayed. The first player to win 2 games advances to the next bracket.
